Privacy Policy

Who we are

TUDDI ("TUDDI," "we," "us") is a mobile app and related services for organizing and playing flag football leagues, pickup games, and related community sports. Contact: play@tuddi.app.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use TUDDI, we may collect:

• Account information: name, username, email, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, and authentication identifiers (including from Apple or Google sign-in).
• League and team activity: registrations, rosters, schedules, scores, stats, RSVPs, invitations, and organization roles.
• Device and usage data: app version, device type, crash logs, and approximate location when you choose to share it (for example for local leagues or pickup games).
• Communications: messages you send us, support requests, and transactional emails or push notifications related to your account.
• Payment-related information: see Payments below. We do not store full card or bank account numbers.
• Voice play entry: if a referee or scorekeeper uses the optional mic to describe a play, we collect the spoken text the device produces. See Voice play entry below.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the TUDDI app and website
• Create and manage accounts, leagues, teams, and registrations
• Send service messages (invites, score updates, payment confirmations)
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Parse optional spoken play descriptions so a referee can enter stats by voice
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use student or league data to train AI models or advertising models, or to serve third-party ads inside the app.

Payments and Stripe

When a league organizer collects registration fees through TUDDI, payments are processed by Stripe using Stripe Connect. The league organizer (not TUDDI) is generally the merchant of record for those fees.

As the platform that facilitates Connect accounts, TUDDI can view payment activity on connected organizer accounts (for example charges, refunds, disputes, payout status, and verification requirements) so we can support organizers, operate the product, and handle disputes or errors. We receive payment status and limited identifiers (such as last4 of a bank account or card brand) needed to show status in the app. Full bank account numbers and government ID documents collected for Stripe identity verification are handled by Stripe under Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Voice play entry

Some games let a referee or scorekeeper describe a play out loud instead of tapping it in. That feature is optional.

• The phone converts speech into text using the device speech recognizer (Apple on iOS). TUDDI receives that text. We do not keep an audio recording.
• TUDDI sends the text, plus the smallest roster fields needed to match players (first name, jersey number if one exists, and a player id), to OpenAI so it can turn the description into a structured play. Team names go with that request.
• On school programs and youth rec leagues (17U, 14U, and under 18), we do not send last names to OpenAI. We also remove last names that appear on that game's roster from the spoken text before it is sent. Adult rec, college, and professional leagues may include last names because that is how those plays are spoken.
• We use the result only to suggest the play in the app. We do not use voice or roster data to train TUDDI models, advertising models, or OpenAI models, and we have not opted in to provider training. OpenAI processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy.
• If a parse fails, we may keep the spoken text for up to 90 days so we can fix the feature. Those records are not used for advertising.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service, including with:

• Service providers such as hosting, email, crash reporting, payment processors (including Stripe), the device speech recognizer when voice play entry is used, and OpenAI for optional voice play parsing
• Other users in the context of a league or team you join (for example your name on a roster or schedule)
• Legal or safety situations when we believe disclosure is required or reasonably necessary

Retention and deletion

We keep account and league data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can request account deletion from in-app settings or by emailing play@tuddi.app.

Children

TUDDI is not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and we ask for a date of birth at sign-up to enforce that. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

A child under 13 may still appear on a school or youth program roster without ever having an account of their own. In that case a parent or guardian holds the account, and the child does not sign in. See School and youth programs below.

School and youth programs

Some TUDDI leagues are run by schools, districts, or youth athletic programs. A coach, athletic director, or program staff member invites participants and, at the time of the invitation, states an age range for each student. That age range determines whether a parent or guardian must be linked before the student can take part.

Students aged 13 to 17 may hold their own account. Students under 13 may not; an adult parent or guardian holds the account and the roster spot stays inactive until that guardian is linked and has confirmed. A linked guardian can see their own student's team information, schedule, and messages.

• What a program collects about a student: name, age range, date of birth, team and roster status, schedule, attendance, and game statistics.
• Who can see a student's full name: only people inside that student's own program. Everywhere else in TUDDI, including opposing teams and any public results, a student under 18 is shown as a first name and last initial.
• Profile photos: students are shown by their initials inside a program, never by a photo, and users under 18 cannot upload a profile photo.
• There is no one-to-one private messaging between a student and an adult on TUDDI, at any age.
• We do not sell student information, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models or advertising models. No third-party analytics, advertising, or session-recording tools run in the TUDDI app. Voice play entry on school and youth rec leagues follows the last-name limits in Voice play entry above.

Parents and guardians

If you are a parent or guardian, you can ask us what information we hold about your child, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent to their participation. A guardian can also remove their own link to a student from within the app. Contact play@tuddi.app and we will respond as required by law.

Removing a student from a program removes their roster spot and their access. Game results and statistics already recorded remain part of that league's record.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of TUDDI after changes means you accept the updated policy.
